My first Barbie

I was never a girly girl growing up and never had barbies. I played with stuffed animals in place of them. Sometimes I played barbies at friends houses but I remember always thinking it was not too fun. Now there is nothing wrong with them so if you played with them and had the dream house and super tan ken doll, more power to you.

Today my mom took Andrew to mcdonalds for lunch and he brought me home a "special prize". My mom said he was really excited to bring it home to me. I present to you, my first barbie:

This made the afternoon very entertaining for me because of the various comments Andrew would make about my new toy. "Mommy, she has boobies just like you!" I took that as a compliment. He built castles for barbie and then knocked them down and laughed hysterically. And anywhere I went, if I forgot my toy, he was sure to bring it to me. I think he expects me to play with it all the time like he does with lightening mcqueen. Thank you, sweet little man, for giving mommy her first barbie!
