We are so thankful for the promise of eternal life that Jesus' resurrection symbolizes. I think Andrew got it this year, as today he pretended to be "Jesus in his grave" under the covers of our bed. I was supposed to be "Mary" and couldn't find him in there. Pretty sweet to see his interpretation of the resurrection story.
As has been the tradition for 4 (?) years now, we had a yummy lunch and Easter egg hunt for the kids at my sister in law Katie's house. All the food was seriously amazing. The kids had a blast. We headed home for a few hours for naps, then went to dinner at a good family friend's house. They had also set up a little egg hunt for Andrew. All together this Easter I think he had 5 hunts. Not bad!
Here are some pictures from our day. They are in reverse order but you wouldn't have known that if I didn't just tell you.
Aunt Adrienne and Uncle Stephen in town from Minnesota!
Family picture. We are holding the boys arms down to keep them from sticking hands and/or eggs in their mouths.
