Great idea for a magnet board

I was really inspired by this idea when we went to a new friend's house recently. It's a large drip pan you buy from Auto Zone for $10 and you can either hang it with those 3M command strips like I did or just prop it up against a wall. I've been wanting something for Andrew to be able to keep track of days, months, etc. and I think this is going to do the trick. The possibilities are endless since its such a large magnetic surface, and my favorite part is it just looks so neat. Plus, like alot of moms I'm tired of magnets all over the refrigerator! I don't get inspired by crafty stuff too often, but this was super easy and right up my alley.

I found the magnet set at Walmart, also for around $10, but in the future I'm going to just keep an eye out for clearance magnets/sets and try to build a fun collection to change them out every so often.
