Our Halloween...

The plan was for Andrew to be a fighter pilot for Halloween. I was so excited to have found this great costume on craigslist, and we talked him into it for about a week. But then, the day before his Halloween party at school, he decided he did NOT want to be a fighter pilot. He wanted to be Super Why. Of course, crazy-moody-picky toddler boy, of course.

Thankfully some good friends had some leftover Super Why props from a themed birthday party a while back, and we turned Andrew into this character. Kind of. You may notice he's wearing Toy Story pajamas which are the only things we could find that were the right color. Our child is a bit of a mess, but he believed he was Super Why and that's really all that matters :)

We went to a friend's house to trick-or-treat and Andrew really got into it this year. It was so fun to see him get excited about Halloween. We walked around as the obligatory big pack of lots of adults and a few kids. Nathan fell asleep of course.

Super Why

The picture below cracks me up. Serg's employer has a big Halloween party in their office every year, and they really go all out. They had a photographer and everything! Andrew had a blast and I bet he thinks Daddy gets to have this much fun every time he goes to work.

Hope everyone out there had a fun and safe Halloween!
