Tourist Day

We had a nice touristy day over the weekend when we visited the South Bank area of London. Funny how we have settled into life here but still haven't seen all of the big sights! There is just so much to see and do both in our neighborhood and in other areas of the city.

London Eye

Big Ben

Andrew got his hands on the camera for a bit so we have lots of pictures from his level

The architecture and art in this area is just stunning

Houses of Parliament and Big Ben

Posing like war heroes

He is holding binoculars

Duck pond at St. James's Park. The most beautiful ducks and swans I have ever seen!

Some of the views were like something out of a fairy tale...

Buckingham Palace

I have a new found enjoyment of dressing the boys the same. On this day I even got Serg to dress like them too.

This city truly is beautiful and amazing, and SO family friendly. We talk all the time about how we may have never visited here because it just didn't stand out to us as a big travel destination. Oh how thankful we are for the opportunity to explore it!
