Part of living in a new city is embracing some of the sports teams right? While Serge would never be loyal to anyone but the Cowboys, they did go to the Mercedes-Benz stadium for a game back in November (Falcons vs Cowboys of course). While I thought he was slightly crazy for wanting to take all three boys to the game, he was super pumped. I got a free afternoon which I spent shopping in Virginia Highlands at cute stores and boutiques- ooh and finding a neat italian deli which has amazing meatballs. Score! Anyways, they got to see a Cowboys win and from the reports I got they had a great time.
Then a week ago we went as a family to an Atlanta Hawks game. It was super fun until about the 4th quarter and then pretty much everyone except for Serge was ready to go. But we thoroughly enjoyed it up until that point! The boys have been playing basketball at our house so to see a live game was pretty cool for them I think. Nate and Sam got to shoot some hoops before the game, and although I didn't get a picture or video of it, Nate did some serious dancing with the hip-hop dancers. During the game they loved the silly things going on like the kiss camera, the mascot who did crazy things, and the halftime performers.
We want to make it to an Atlanta United game, the soccer team here that just won the MLS championship. I've heard those games are really fun.
