Well, a pub. And it was family time (before 7pm), and father's day, so it was quite wonderful. Serg had a busy, fun father's day that started and ended with riding the trains with Andrew. We let him stay in bed a little longer than he usually gets to in the morning and brought him breakfast in bed. He really liked that! Then he and Andrew went on a train/bus adventure to Ikea while Nate and I napped. Later in the day we all went for a bus ride to the hardware store in town, much like a Home Depot. Then the big boys went on another train ride just for kicks and we met up at this place for dinner. We all shared fish & chips and a "steakburger", both of which were so good! And a plus: they always seem to serve fish & chips with "mushy peas", kind of gross for adults but the perfect dinner for Nate!
A happy daddy and his boys
A nice man offered to take our picture, and we realized this is the first picture we've taken of all four of us since we've been here. He took about five and was like "um, they all have you looking in different directions" to which we responded, "yeah, that's just how it goes". :)
The boys are blessed beyond what they know to have Serg as their Dad. I'm sure they will realize it someday as Serg has with his Dad. I don't think I've ever seen him lose his patience as a father which I cannot even begin to understand but am ever thankful for. Happy Father's Day to all the great men in our lives!
