Every day is funnier

than the one before. Here are a few funnies from today. For some reason Andrew refers to his butt as “the butt”. Today after he went number two, I helped him wipe and a few minutes later he told me “you didn’t wipe the butt enough”. Gross I know, but also hilarious. Its like he's trying to disassociate his butt from himself. Also, he normally gets a popsicle about every other night. Tonight was a popsicle night but I pulled the you can’t have your popsicle until you eat your veggies. He pulled out every trick in his little brain at this point. How about I eat 3 bites? 5 bites? 7 bites? 11 bites? Then, his tummy told him it was full. Then he said he would like fruit instead. Then I turned my head for a minute, and looked back to see him holding his fork with a green bean on it up to Nate’s mouth. Good thing Ginger’s not here, she would have had a tummy full of veggies tonight. Then he had to go pee. He had to go poopy. His tummy hurt. He finally tried a bite of sweet potato (which he loved as a baby of course) and his face looked like he had just eaten bird poop. So, no popsicle for Andrew tonight! I know all parents go through this aversion to veggies, and it’s quite amusing. I like having the power to say no veggies, no dessert! I also really like that every day is funnier than the day before. Nate’s new love of dancing also adds to the comedy.
